NEWS!
Sunny ( RW SGC Esaya Purfik Purindoors) has been confirmed as TICA 2009 Regional Winner, and also now holds the titles 'Best Red Point Birman in the World 2009' Best Birman in Northern Europe (including UK) 2009, and Overall 4th Best Birman in the world, 2009. She will now take a well earned rest from the show bench, to the delight of some of the other birman exhibitors!
Puff of Purindoors has also been confirmed as a Regional Winnner, and the Best Longhair Household Pet Kitten in Northern Europe.
CH Purindoors Itcouldbeyou is confirmed as 3rd best seal tortie in the world ( she is currently enjoying maternal duties - see kitten page for details).
Purindoors is a small show/breed cattery on the borders of 4 counties, East and West Sussex, Kent and Surrey. Cat breeding and showing is a family affair and myself (Emma Yeoman) and one (or more) of my 4 sons regularly attend shows and everyone helps in the important task of socialising kittens.
We are dedicated to the wonderful birman breed and we aim to breed and show the perfect birman, a pursuit which will happily never be completed ( what would we do if we did!). In the course of this never ending quest we sometimes have beautiful well socialised baby birmans available. Kittens are brought up within our home and are more than used to the hustle and bustle of a busy family. Kitten not required for our own breeding program are homed at around 13 weeks old when fully vaccinated, wormed registered and are ready to take over another home with confidence.
I have recently been given the opportunity to combine both my love of showing and interest in education as I am now the offical liason for the Young Exhibitors Program in our new Western Europe TICA region. Please look on the relavant page for more details. As this program is new to our region it may take a little time to get 'off the ground' but any youngsters interested in TICA are certainly welcome to get in touch.
