This developing program is already very successful in other parts of the world, currently I am working with the leaders of the program in the other TICA regions in order to bring the program to the UK ( and the rest of our new Europe West region, which also includes Ireland and Iceland).
The program aims to involve young people from around 8 to 18 years old in the world of TICA, where they will be able to show their cats (pedigree or HHP) and earn certificates for their own knowledge about cats in general and become more involved in the actual running of the shows. Each young person will have an experienced TICA 'mentor' who will guide them through the TICA experience, however the parent of the child will remain fully in charge of the child at all times at shows, it is not a baby sitting service. It is intended that child and mentor will attend some of the same shows although most contact will probably be by email, supervised by a parent.
